What I Liked About This Book:
Would you wish upon a star to see your loved one one more time? Even if it ends up in the unlikeliest of circumstances?
When I read the description for the book I was a tad apprehensive … another Christmas book. But of course Karen McQuestion changed my mind on this!
I liked the spin on this Christmas Eve/Day story. Karen McQuestion weaves aspects of miracles, angels, wishes coming true, family love and generational stories into a story of love and second chances.
I can relate to Elizabeth’s current situation that led her to go see her grandmother: relationship, career, etc. I too have lost a grandparent whom I adored and who adored me back. I found the storyline relatable. Throughout the story, I felt more connections to Elizabeth; which kept me wanting more of the story and turning the page!
Why You Should Read This Book
As a person who struggles with the holidays, I was able to find great joy and encouragement in this book. I hope others give “A Time-Travel Christmas” a chance too.
