Summary

โ€œโ€A Taste of Scarletโ€ is a brilliantly crafted set of poems; which describe the journeys one experiences in life. Well worth the read.โ€ -Brandi Reads-

One of the strengths to this collection of poems is, even though each poem is separate, and tells itโ€™s own story; all the poems fit together to tell the overarching story – Life is a Journey.

This aspect of the collection engaged me more as I read through each poem. I could see how each poem connected to the poems preceding and following. There is a good flow to this collection.

I enjoyed the poems: โ€œThink Twiceโ€ โ€œPiecesโ€ and โ€œMagnificentโ€.

Beth writes on themes of โ€œLight and dark, love and pain, joy and angerโ€. If you enjoy reading poetry that makes you reflect on your own journey and the similarities which exist in the combined human experience, then this collection of poems is for you!

If any of the topics of loss, grief, pain, mental health upset you, then I suggest reading with caution.
