Historical Romance
This fast paced, page turning romance is just what I expected from Anne.
I love the sweet friendship between Zara & William. I liked the method used to tell the readers about the basic conflict and I enjoyed hearing more about Zara’s background. Of course, I enjoy the appearances of characters from the first 3 books and how the circle of friends continues to be open, supportive and encouraging to the new people joining.
Overall if you have not read one of Anne’s books, Zara & William is a great place to start!
