I am so pleased with this book. A Scattered Life is Karen McQuestion’s first novel. For a debut novel it was intriguing, fast paced and full of twists and turns. Not for the faint of heart this novel discusses trauma, terminal illness and mental health issues. This book also does not end in a feel good way. Without spoiling the ending it was good to see some of the relational dynamics sort themselves out and a lesson was learned from the difficult issues the characters experienced through out the novel. I highly recommend this book.
