PEACEKEEPER'S PAIN: a YA Fantasy Coming-of-Age Adventure, Book 3 (PEACEKEEPER'S PASSAGE) by [Wayne Meyers]
Book 3 of Peacekeepers Passage Series

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Peacekeepers Pain is book 3 of the Peacekeeper’s Passage series. This book is the first that I have read by the author. There are various elements in the book that kept me wanting to read more. I enjoyed the camaraderie between the main character Hofen, and his training mates, and fellow apprentices. I enjoyed the romantic subplot that was woven into this story. I also enjoyed that it was not blatantly in your face, it was told and interwoven tactfully. While I have not read the first two books in this series, I felt like I did not miss anything. Peacekeeper’s Pain, was well written and had enough background explained throughout, essentially it could stand alone. One does not have to know all the details about the guilds and background knowledge of the roles, to enjoy this book either. I was very impressed by this book and I am looking forward to reading more novels by this author.
