Denise has become one of my favorite writers. I love her technique and character development.

To be honest, it took me a day after finishing the book, to write this review. I had to let the experience sit with me for a bit.

When the Bough Breaks was EVERYTHING THAT I WANTED IT TO BE. Everything that I needed it to be … and then some!

Denise puts her heart and soul into each book. She has built a cult following for Rose. I know when she writes a Rose book, not everyone will be happy with the end product and thats ok. In her fan community we are in our groups/ teams on her relationships, other characters, etc.

I am a diehard, ride or die Rose Gardner fan. I am in it for the long haul. I have read every book that has anything to do with Rose. I have invested in her and in her bestie NK (we all need a bestie like NK) and I am in this till the end! (Please don’t let it end Denise!)

Old characters make appearances, one comes to the rescue and Rose’s niece Ashley is just like her aunt!

It is difficult to write a review and not be excited and spoil something. I will say instead, if you have not read Rose, you need to. You are missing out on this in your life!
